We can’t wait to welcome Mark Erelli and Tessa McCoy & The State Birds to Mountain Stage this Sunday as we celebrate another year as the home of live music on NPR.

Get in the holiday spirit with Bob Thompson and friends! On Dec. 11 & 12 WVPB will present the annual Joy to the World holiday jazz concert at the Culture Center Theater.

This year's guest vocalist is Catherine Russell, a Grammy Award-winning jazz and blues vocalist best known for her 2016 album Harlem on My Mind and for her years touring with David Bowie and Steely Dan as a backup vocalist. She has also been a guest artist on Mountain Stage six times since her first appearance in 2006.

Stephen Wilson Jr. made his Mountain Stage debut in Charleston, WV on January 26, 2025.

Originally from rural Southern Indiana, Wilson describes his sound as “Death Cab for Country” and continues his rise as a prominent star in the music world with a unique sound that combines country, grunge and indie rock.
