Eastern men’s basketball shot 57 percent from the field and 40 percent from three in the second half to overcome a seven-point first half deficit, earning a 71-61 win over Tennessee Tech Thursday evening at Groniger Arena.
“I think that’s the kind of team we have, I think we have a lot of weapons out there, when we play unselfish and play together, I think you will see multiple guys scoring in double figures,” head coach Marty Simmons said.
The Panthers bounced back after shooting poorly in the first half.
