Charleston has omakase. Charleston has grocery-store sushi.

Nobody’s been serving the part in between.

Kyn opens this month at 61 Cannon — Japan-sourced fish, hand rolls, and a bar program run like a kitchen. From two chefs who’ve cooked in a dozen countries between them.

For 100-plus weeks I’ve written to thousands of Charlestonians, and every one of you had exactly one way to answer — reply to me.

Never to each other. That was a design flaw. I fixed it.

The Regulars is live. Free, no separate login, and it installs on your phone like an app.

Yo Mama’s Big Fat B***y Band. The name alone had me going.

The funk sealed it. These road warriors have been touring since 2002 and they bring it every single time.

Saturday at Pour House, doors at 8. Say the name out loud in line for tickets and watch nobody even blink.

Friday. 9 PM. USA vs Paraguay. The World Cup opens on home soil and Charleston is not watching this one from the couch.

We hunted down every spot in the Lowcountry showing it. The 200-inch wall downtown. The soccer pubs on King. Sports bars from Park Circle to Daniel Island to Johns Island and everywhere between. 23 places, sorted by neighborhood, so you walk in where the crowd’s already roaring.

Pick your spot. Wear the colors. Bring the noise.

There’s one chair at this table with your name on it. For about 48 more hours

Here’s how this usually goes: you see the photos, you think “that looks fun,” you tell yourself you’ll sign up later. Later comes. Table’s full. You watch the next carousel wishing you’d moved.

Don’t be that person twice.

Wednesday the 10th, 6:45 — James Island/West Ashley. First Dinner Club ever on this side of the water, and the seats are already going.

Every single one of these dinners has filled. This one closes this week.

The people who hesitate scroll past. The people who show up end up in the next carousel.

You’ve seen the photos. Now grab the seat.

This is what Dinner Club looks like — strangers at 6:45, friends by the time the plates clear. The kind of night Charleston used to be full of.

Next one’s Wednesday the 10th, 6:45. And for the first time, we’re crossing the water — James Island/West Ashley gets its first seat at the table.

Signups close this week. Not eventually. This week.

Every dinner we’ve run has filled. Swipe for proof, then go claim your spot — because the people in these photos already learned what happens when you wait.

We have a reserved section at Saturday’s Battery match – and you’re invited.

Field-level right next to the supporters’ section. All the drums, all the vibe.

Food trucks, a kids pitch, the Ravenel Bridge lit up behind the goal.

Great views, good people, easy Charleston night. Just a few left.

Battery versus Detroit City, this Saturday. Kickoff at 6:00 PM.

The Post & Courier just announced Nantucket Meat & Fish is coming to Moultrie Plaza in Mount Pleasant.

Cute.

We ran that November 7th — back when everyone else was busy mourning the clock tower.

This is the whole point of subscribing. You hear it first.

40 of us. One field-level deck. May 30.

We’ve booked the Augie Alumni Deck at Patriots Point — right next to the supporters’ section. Smoke flares. Drums. Sunset over the Ravenel. A team that’s been winning here for 30+ years.

Charleston Battery vs Detroit City. $25 a spot. Field-level. Come hang.

This is what CHS Happenings does. We pull readers off their phones and into rooms.

Now? Into a stadium.
