Pom Pom and Franny More than just screen time

Sometimes friendship is as simple as saying,
“I thought of you.”
A little kindness. A sweet surprise.
That’s what friends do.

Tedo Wednesday Whiff-dom
Tedo had one cookie.
He thought about sharing it with a friend…
For about half a second.
Then it was GONE.
Tedo’s whiff-dom for today: Maybe save half for your friend before you gobble the whole thing!
Friendship is sweeter when you share.

Friendship

Oscar has a little wisdom for the week:

“A good friend doesn't have to be just like you.

A good friend cares about you, helps you, and makes room for you.

That's what friendship is about

Rue Rue: “Look at Franny! She tried something new.”

Nana: “And look how proud she is!”

Rue Rue: “Confidence grows when we’re willing to try.”

Nana: “We’re so proud of you, Franny!”

Sometimes confidence looks like trying something new...

Taking a deep breath...

And going for it!

Pom Pom and Franny ran, jumped, flipped, and landed with the biggest giggles!

They didn't worry about getting it perfect.

They just had fun trying!

That's confidence—believing, "I can try!"

What's something new YOU would like to try this week?

Tedo Wednesday Whiff-dom — Confidence

Tedo has a little Whiff-dom for you:

Sometimes you might think...

"I can't do it."

Tedo says,

"Give it a try!"

And if it doesn't work?

Try again!

That's Tedo's kind of confidence.

I can try. I can learn. I can try again!

Sometimes confidence means believing,
“I can try!”

You don't have to know exactly how something will turn out.

Take a deep breath.
Give it a try.
And remember—you can do hard things

Word of the Week: GRATITUDE
Rue Rue watched as Franny walked backward through Harvest Holler.

She didn't see Pom Pom behind her...

Bump!

Franny turned around and saw Pom Pom.

They both giggled and gave each other a big hug.

Nana smiled.

"Sometimes the best things in life aren't things at all."

Rue Rue nodded.

"Sometimes they're the people we get to love."

Nana smiled.

"And that's something worth being thankful for."

Gratitude means noticing the good things—and being thankful for the people who make life special.

Pom Pom was walking through Harvest Holler when she noticed her flowers.
"Oh no!"
The flowers were droopy.
Pom Pom suddenly remembered...
"I forgot to water them!"
Just then, Franny came walking over with a watering can.
"I can help!"
Together, Pom Pom and Franny watered the flowers.
Slowly, the flowers lifted their heads and bloomed into beautiful, colorful flowers.
Pom Pom smiled at Franny.
"Thank you for helping me!"
Franny smiled.
"You're welcome!"
Pom Pom learned that gratitude means noticing kindness and being thankful for the people who help us.
Grateful hearts grow when we remember to say thank you.

Well now...
I was having a mighty fine day in Harvest Holler.
The sun was shining.
The birds were singing.
And I found the biggest, crunchiest apple!
"Mmmm!"
Then I thought...
"Wait a minute."
Who helped grow this delicious apple?
The trees!
The sunshine!
The rain!
And the folks who took care of the orchard!
So I smiled and said...
"Thank you!"
You know what?
That made my apple taste even better!
Today's Whiff-dom: Gratitude means noticing the good things and being thankful.
