Excited and proud to publicly release "High Tide at Wunder Beach - The John Richardson Story" - a documentary film telling the story of Vietnam War veteran John Richardson. His story spans from the mid-1960s before he was drafted, through his momentous & heroic tour in the Vietnam War with the US Army armored cavalry, through to his battles after the war with Agent Orange, PTSD, and other physical injuries incurred during the war. The film was produced in 2024, and in May 2025 was selected as a finalist at the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards (hosted by the American Legion) in Beverly Hills, CA.

The film was directed & edited by Calvin Grimm, production management support by Stephanie Robinson, cinematography support from Andrew Roberts; with John's son Sean Richardson helping coordinate the project and its release, as well as contributing music for the score. John sadly passed away due to complications from Agent Orange exposure earlier this year, but was able to attend the film's premiere at the Nitro War Museum (in Nitro, WV) on Veteran's Day, 2024 and additional screenings. He was an advocate and mentor for all veterans and will always be honored & remembered. The film is free to stream via YouTube.

Our most recent documentary film, “High Tide at Wunder Beach” will be screening twice during May, Wednesday the 7th and and Weds the 14th at 7pm at the Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema located at Taylor Books downtown Charleston, WV, as part of the West Virginia International Film Festival. 50% of proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Lost Valley Studios previously released a documentary series "Mountain of the Missing" about confessed West Virginia serial killer, James Childers. He admitted to multiple murders and was linked to others in the early 2000s, before he allegedly committed su***de when law enforcement attempted to arrest him in 2009. This is his full, unabridged recorded confession that he sent to Clarksburg Police Department in 2009. Three of his admitted victims have never been identified; please contact WV State Police or the FBI if you have any information which may help identify them. The "Mountain of the Missing" series is also available to stream for free on YouTube, and is linked in comments of this video.
