Our Virginia Homestead

Our Virginia Homestead We are a homesteading couple having left the corporate world behind and are living out our dream! We knew we wanted something different in life.

We are Dean & Sara and we had been dreaming of an end to corporate suburban life for some time so when the opportunity presented itself, we opted to sell our home and the majority of our belongings. We hooked a travel trailer up to our truck and set out to explore the Southwest and build our homestead. A life more grounded in the fundamentals and responsibility for our own sustainability. We found our land in beautiful SW Colorado and we are building our homestead from the ground up…all the things! We are excited to begin our greatest adventure yet and hope you will subscribe and come along with us! We are so happy to be able to share this life with you.

I am so grateful for the rain. I never truly appreciated it before I lived in the high desert when seeing rain was like manna from heaven. It still is. I just see it now and always give thanks.
