Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise, here's a fun fact related to him:
Jason Voorhees didn't wear his iconic hockey mask until the third movie in the series, Friday the 13th Part III (1982).

In the original Friday the 13th (1980), the killer was actually his mother, Pamela Voorhees.
In Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), Jason was the killer but wore a burlap sack with one eye-hole cut out over his head.

He finally donned the famous hockey mask in Part III, after taking it from one of his victims.
And here's an extra fun general horror movie fact for Halloween:

Future Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund, worked on the set of the original Halloween (1978).
Since John Carpenter's Halloween was filmed in California during the spring, the crew needed to make it look like autumn in Illinois.
Robert Englund was one of the people hired to help scatter bags of painted fake leaves around the set to create the fall atmosphere. He would go on to star as Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street six years later.

"A wild artist appears!" 🎨 My kiddo snuck a photo of me while I was trying to get the lighting just right on this piece.
Thanks for the photo bomb! Looks like I was ready for a nap though, haha. 😂

In a world that often pits us against one another, let's stop and recognize a profound truth: Our greatest strength lies in our solidarity. When we, as women, genuinely support, uplift, and advocate for one another, we unlock a potential that is unstoppable. This isn't just about sharing an encouraging word; it's about making a deliberate commitment to foster an environment where every woman can thrive.

True support means celebrating the success of another woman as if it were your own. It means viewing her achievements not as competition, but as proof of what is possible. It's about being the first to congratulate her on a promotion, the first to recommend her business, and the first to applaud her courage for speaking her truth.

But support also means showing up during the hard times. It means offering a hand, not judgment, when a sister stumbles. It means using your voice and privilege to stand beside a woman who is marginalized, dismissed, or silenced. We must actively dismantle the stereotypes and conditioned biases that lead us to scrutinize each other's choices, whether in career, motherhood, lifestyle, or appearance.

Let's commit to making our spaces—from boardrooms and community groups to kitchens and online comment sections—places of refuge, respect, and mutual admiration. When we build bridges instead of walls, the entire landscape changes. We don't just survive; we rise, together, creating a brighter future for the next generation of girls who will learn by our example.

If you believe in the power of women supporting women, please share this post.
