Here at TyChi Productions, we don’t take it lightly we are literally our ancestors wildest dreams. 🥹

Juneteenth is a relatively new national holiday, but it’s not new to most African-Americans.
🖤❤️💚

In 1863, during the American Civil War, Pres. Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which declared more than three million enslaved people living in the Confederate states to be free.

More than two years would pass, however, before the news reached African Americans living in Texas. It was not until Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, that the state’s residents finally learned that slavery had been abolished.

The formerly enslaved immediately began to celebrate with prayer, feasting, song, and dance.

We do all things in excellence in homage and respect to all of our ancestors who didn’t have the opportunity. ✊🏽

Who Is TyChi?

Even as a young musician, Tyeasha “Ty” VanBuren AKA TyChi always had the aspirations of becoming a producer like her entertainment idols Timbaland and Diddy as a teen. She had dreams of going to Full Sail University to meet these goals. After becoming a professional musician and becoming a U.S. Marine and working prestigious jobs in Washington DC, that dream died indefinitely. Until she begin to dream chase again. After finishing a bachelors degree in Entertainment Business at her dream school of Full Sail University in 2015, TyChi still felt empty and longed for that dream. While successful in her current career in the fitness industry, that entertainment itch wouldn’t die. In late 2016, TyChi began a second bachelor’s degree majoring in Audio Production at her alma mater and never looked back. Although life and car accidents got in the way from finishing up school at the time, it pushed the desire to become a content creator and visual innovator.

As an actress and lover of all things audio and visual, and lover of all things audio and visual, TyChi’s unique perspective and passion for entertainment is making the “new kid” the newest “go to” videographer in the CSRA. With music videos, fitness promo videos and acting reels under her heels, TyChi is excited to see what other type of magic she can create for the world to enjoy!

TyChi’s latest accomplishment is serving as the video producer for the 2018 Carolina Music Video Awards in Charlotte NC.
