Campaign mailers cost thousands of dollars — and they’re often funded by powerful organizations with their own agendas.
District 1 residents, please take a closer look at who is funding these campaigns. Research the groups behind the glossy mailers. Ask yourself: Do they stand with community advocates fighting for equity and fair growth — or are they backed by real estate lobbyists and developers who only want to build, build, build with no focus on affordability?
For example: Neighbors Helping Neighbors NC is not a grassroots group — it’s a Real Estate PAC. Why would they be spending so much money in our election? And why are only certain candidates tied to them?
This is a critical moment for District 1. We cannot afford to hand over our community to developers. I have already proven that I will fight for affordability, fairness, and the future of our neighborhoods. Now, I am asking you to fight with me.
📅 Early Voting: September 2 – September 6
🗳️ Election Day: September 9
Let’s keep District 1 in the hands of the people — not the developers.
