“Peter Mutabazi [] was just 10 years old when he ran away from home in Uganda and ended up living on the streets of Kampala.
Then a stranger stepped in, helped him get an education and gave him a chance at a completely different life. Peter eventually moved to the United States, earned a master's degree and built a career of his own.
But years later, he found himself on the other side of that story.
In 2017, Peter became a foster parent, eventually adopting his first foster child, Anthony, in 2019. He began sharing his experiences with foster care and fatherhood online, building an audience of 880K+ on Instagram and 470K+ on TikTok.
A stranger once changed Peter's life when he was a child. Years later, Peter became that person for children who needed someone to choose them.”
