Last night was beautiful! The first Tip Top Needle Drop kicked off!! This monthly event will take place on the last Monday of every month at Tip Top Market. Participants bring 3 records of their choice. All the records are put in the crate of Destiny and one is chosen. The needle is dropped four times at random on the record - for 15 second intervals. Participants are all given the four samples and have an hour to craft whatever sound scape they would like. At the end everyone gets a chance to share what they’ve created. No pressure - just straight up creative fun! Join us for the next TTND on March 25th :)

Grab a record, some headphones, your adventurous mind, and a fav portable sampling rig and join us on the last Monday evening every month at for Tip Top Needle Drop!

This is a music production hang where we’ll pick a record at random from the stack, drop the needle on it for 30-60 sec or so, and that will be the source material for all of us to sculpt from for the next 60-90 mins!

After, we’ll have a listen to our new gems and riff on our processes and techniques! Total electronic music geek heaven.
