Tracking some tunes today for the next The Olde Guard record!!!! Great playing by the entire band today and the tracks sound great!!! I am so excited to be a part of this record!! It’s gonna be so good!!! Special thanks to Sioux Sioux Studio in Charlotte for the facility, Chris Waldorf for so much help getting me launched, and Nora Schropp for the assist! Great day in the studio!!!

Yesterday I got to record my first diesel locomotive! Again, these are giant loud machines!! We were mostly trying to get new authentic engine revving sounds and I think we got them! The CSX engineer ran through all 8 notches of “speed” and back down. We also got a new e-bell and the horn and lots of other usable sounds!! Good day at the office!!

Things at work, model trains, get punished by us in the engineering department. We take them apart and put ‘em back together a lot!! Pieces fall out, so I collected a few items and set them on one of my speakers. I think the one guy is about to fart!!
