I share about this because not many women can relate, and many feel alone! When I started feeling the itching during my first pregnancy my doctors tried to tell me it was probably hormonal, this started at about 14-15 weeks. As time went on I KNEW it wasn’t hormones. After doing a lot of research I asked them to check me for ICP. They tried to brush it off since it isn’t common, but I insisted. At first the levels weren’t very elevated so they dismissed it. By week 34 the itching had intensified so I brought it back up. Sure enough, my bile acid levels had skyrocketed. At 37 weeks they diagnosed me with ICP and my healthy baby boy was delivered at 38. BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE!! 🩵

As a working mom, my honest answer has always been “if you’re willing to pay the daycare fee for the next baby I’ll have one today!” 😂 Next year we will have two in daycare so yall pray for me. 😥 lol

Who else wakes up in a panic to realize they’ve been sleeping on their back while pregnant? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃😂 I try my best to stay on my side but I turn so much haha.
