These sofas were both amazing (do I need a sofa? No- do I want one? Yes!) and the vintage lighting- sooooo good. Lots of smalls around too-

In honor of the record just set in Palm Springs for number of Marilyn impersonators around this iconic statue- here we are with FOREVER MARILYN- not dressed liked Monroe in February of this year at Modernism week!✨

In case you want the history: Forever Marilyn is a 26-foot-tall sculpture by John Seward Johnson II, depicting Marilyn Monroe in her iconic pose from The Seven Year Itch, with her white dress blowing up from a subway grate & created in 2011. It traveled to various locations before settling in Palm Springs.

Everything has been moved around, painted, refinished, etc. -but most of this furniture has been with us for about 15 years at this point. All sourced from Craigslist or from my time as a blogger for the Restore.
These pics go all the way back to 2016 and starting you can see the original oilcloth on the outdoor vintage set before we had it reupholstered with a similar color outdoor fabric. Look for the rug changes as well before I found the multicolor flowered ones that I rebought and now power wash every year to AMAZING results. (Try it!)
