A LOVE LETTER TO MY CLIENTS 💕
As we come up on 8 YEARS of The Pretty Lounge next week, I’ve been reflecting on how blessed I am.
This week, one of my clients told me she’s turning 20. I asked, “Girl, how long have I been doing your hair?” She said, “Since middle school.” 🥹 I’ve done her hair, her mom’s AND her brother’s. So many stories like that exist in my chair.
I have 10+ year clients and clients who have followed me through four locations. I’ve watched y’all graduate, change careers, become mothers, get married, go through breakups, start over, move away, come back, cut your hair, grow it back, go natural, get extensions, wear braids, wigs, silk presses and ask what we’re doing next. 😂
At this point, I’m not just a hairstylist. I’m a generational hairstylist, and I don’t take that lightly.
My work may go viral, but I am not a viral hairstylist. I’m a hairstylist who happens to go viral. My regulars — my home team — are the reason I stay booked and busy. And I thank God for that DAILY!
Thank you for trusting me with your hair. For allowing me to protect it, grow it, switch it up, try new things and sometimes say, “Absolutely not. We are NOT doing that.” 😂 Thank you for the conversations, laughing, venting, life updates and the “Girl, let me tell you what happened…” before you even put your purse down. 😭
Thank you for your patience with my calendar lately. Increased bookings have had these books ALL over the place, and I hate hearing, “Jas, there aren’t any appointments left!”
Going forward, I’m going to try opening two months at a time to give these books 😂 more breathing room and help my regulars continue getting in without me completely closing my books.

I literally cry about this because I know how blessed I am. My life and The Pretty Lounge would not be what they are without y’all.
So no, this isn’t goodbye. 😂 I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for riding with me, growing with me, trusting me, keeping me booked and busy, and choosing me again and again.
I love y’all BAD. 💕
