🛍️ Things I Bought Thursday 🥐

The most recent purchase? One rich, flaky chocolate croissant and one absolutely irresistible dulce de leche croissant from a local coffee shop. Tough job, but somebody had to do the "research."

So... what do croissants and goat milk soap have in common?

More than you'd think! Since our handcrafted soaps are inspired by delicious bakery treats and specialty coffees, we thought it would be fun to reach out and suggest a partnership. Imagine our bakery-inspired soaps displayed alongside the real thing—a sweet little pairing that lets customers take the experience home without the calories. (Please don't eat the soap. 😂)

Will our proposal be a success? We sure hope so! But even if it doesn't work out, we can honestly say this business meeting was delicious, and those croissants were worth every flaky bite.

Sometimes growing a small business means taking a chance... and occasionally rewarding yourself with pastry along the way. ❤️🥐

🍓🫐 **Fresh Cut Friday!** 🫐🍓

It's always a good day when dessert is on the cutting table... even if it's soap! 😄

Today we're slicing into Triple Berry Trifle, our handcrafted goat milk soap featuring soft, muted swirls of creamy white, berry red, and blueberry blue—just like layers of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and whipped cream in your favorite summer trifle.

Each bar is scented with delicious Berry Trifle fragrance and is studded with adorable soap dough strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries for an extra sweet finishing touch.

Remember our Soapy Sponges?

Apparently making them is just as addictive as using them... because I may have gone a *little* overboard and ordered more sponges.

Okay...

A **LOT** more sponges. 😂🧽🧽🧽

When something is this much fun to make, it's hard to stop.

Good thing I don't have to explain my craft purchases to anyone. No hiding boxes. No sneaking deliveries inside.

Just me happily opening packages and saying...

*"Yep... I bought more soap stuff!"* 🤣

🐚✨ We have a new creative obsession... and we just have to share!

Meet the beautiful handcrafted seashells and oyster shell creations by Cheryl Gates of Shellcraft Studio. Aren't they gorgeous? We've been brainstorming all kinds of ideas for soaps that would perfectly complement these one-of-a-kind beauties, and we can't wait to see what we come up with!

🌴✈️ It finally happened... one of our little bars has officially become a world traveler!

One of our goat milk soaps made its way all the way to Fiji. At this rate, it's basically the Flat Stanley of the soap world—making friends, seeing the sights, and living its best life while the rest of the bars are still waiting for their turn in the soap dish. 😂🧼

We can't wait to see where our next adventurous bar pops up! If you take a bar of our soap with you on your travels, snap a photo and tag us. We love watching our soaps collect passport stamps one lather at a time! 🌎💙

🛍️ Things I Bought Thursday 📦

This week's adventure was acquired from FB Marketplace...

A shrink wrap machine! 🎉

Our soaps are way too pretty to hide, so we're upgrading our packaging to better show off all those colorful swirls, layers, and fancy tops.

Now... there's just one tiny detail...

We have absolutely no idea how to use the thing. 😂

Wish us luck! If you hear mysterious noises coming from the soap studio this week, we're probably wrestling with plastic and watching YouTube tutorials.

And once again, I'm thankful there's nobody around asking why another package showed up on the porch.

🎂 **Studio Saturday** 🎂

Today I dusted off my very rusty cake decorating skills... and let's just say there's a reason I make soap instead of wedding cakes. 😂 Maybe it's a lack of patience. Maybe it's my shaky hands. Maybe it's both.

This design was completely freestyle, and somehow it turned out... not half bad! 🍌💛 The best part? The finished **Banana Fana** goat milk soap, complete with its adorable little 'Nilla wafer embed.

Of course, my camera decided it was done before I was and stopped recording just before I finished. 🤦‍♀️

Sometimes the imperfect, behind-the-scenes moments are the most fun.
