Small win for the day. Since I’ve sspent most of the time I’ve owned this Electroknit knitting machine, I was tearing it down, cleaning it, oiling it, and rebuilding the computer in it, I haven’t had much time to learn how to actually use it.

Tonight, I figured out how to run patterns on the Mylar sheets. Ignore the blue section, that’s is where I messed up originally.

I’m going to be leaning heavily into my crafts for the foreseeable future, so I need to become an expert at this machine.

Going to try and get back into WIP Wednesday posting. Might as well focus on crafting because that will probably keep...

Crochet : Berry Beanie, 8/52 rows
Knitting 1: The Age of Brass & Steam Kerchief, 19/70 rows
Knitting 2: Adult Poncho, 6/23 inches
Knitting Machine rebuild: computer is functioning, it can read patterns on Mylar, I need to test the computer hookup hack. Successfully cast on after reassembly and oiling.

It’s been far too long since I posted progress photos. I’m going to try and do better.

Meanwhile, I should be working on other, more time sensitive things , but my brain is all “only 11 more rows to go and you’re on the decreases.”

First time doing color work also, so loving how it is turning out.

Happiness Poncho is going to take me a long time, but the progress is showing.

I also finished the witch hat I was crocheting.

Mail didn’t run in my area today, so my flatbed knitting machine part I need didn’t get delivered. I’m working on hacking it (a Brother Electroknit) so it hooks up to my laptop. I think that is why I broke my rule about only having one hand knit and one crochet project at a time and cast on a second knitting project.

My yarn haul from market. Definitely went over budget, but it’s so colorful and pretty!

Most is from the . The yarn on the left is the same name as the text on the pouch. The Slubby Dubby and Fi*****ng is name Happiness because we can all use a little happiness.

The fantastic has loads of fandom and nerdy inspired yarns. I picked up Merlin’s Experiment 67 in Fi*****ng Weight and plan to get the “I Paused My Game Shawl Kit” in the future. She just released the shawl pattern today! It’s on Ravelry.
