It really does take a community. ❤️ This project came together because of generous local businesses, donors, volunteers, and a whole lot of hard work. We set out with a $5,000 budget and finished only about $400 over, something I honestly didn't think was possible when we started. Thank you to everyone who helped make this teachers' lounge a reality. I'll be tagging all of our amazing community partners below!

This teachers' lounge makeover is officially underway!

Part 2 is here, and we've made some serious progress! From patching walls and painting to assembling 22 cabinets (yes... 22 😅), this project is finally starting to look like the vision I had in mind.

Of course, no renovation is complete without a few surprises. Steel studs definitely weren't on my bingo card, but a little problem-solving kept us moving forward!

I can't wait for the teachers and staff to have a space they truly deserve. ❤️

The demo has officially begun!

This isn't just a renovation, it's a labor of love for the incredible teachers and staff at our school. They give so much every single day, and they deserve a space where they can truly relax and recharge.
We pulled out the old cabinets and countertops, and this is just the beginning! While some of the bigger companies didn't come through, a few amazing small businesses stepped up to help make this project possible, and I'm so grateful. ❤️

The excitement from the staff has already made every hour of work worth it.
