With the onset of artificial intelligence, we are remarking about the potential and the benefits that it offers. It’s incredible from what I have come to understand about it. Here is the sadness of it all. It’s taking away the human spirit.
I just accepted a phone call and it has led me to believe that in some way I need to help someone else out and come to aid some people if I can. As many of you know, my mom Libby Stone had a modeling business and then talent agency evolving from the mid 1950’s. While I am not engaged in the business now, we keep its name on Facebook.
Today I received a call from a young woman- age 20 looking for work.
Can we please talk this up and see if we can help people like her find her place in this new situation. As we are seeing, Out goes the old and in comes the new.
This girl needs a job that brings her warehouse experience and her call center experience into play. She is looking for a full time position and says she would consider anywhere in Charlotte. She is able to drive.
She had a great voice and sounded professional over the phone. I would give her an A for that.
She did sound a bit down so I tired to lift her up by saying don’t give in to this felling of sadness but keep the faith and tell yourself good things. Something good is going to happen and all things are possible for you!
She was so appreciative and so kind. I’d love to help her in some way. If you have knowledge of any Business needing a full time customer service rep or someone supportive of warehouse work- let me know
