Some great deals of the day for gifts. REI Magma 850 Fill Power Down hoodie is 50% off. This would rank up there with my Outdoor Gear Geeks BEST HOLIDAY DEALS! I don't recommend any products that I wouldn't use myself on a trail or out camping. The REI Magma series of Sleeping Bags and Quilts are some that I recommend the most. Last we Outdoor Gear Geeks and went on a road trip testing some new gear from , , .co, , , and . Arizona and Utah have some pretty cold temps this time of year but we were massively impressed by how well the gear we tested performed! This photo from Zion where the Allpaca Hoodie by Appalachian Gear Co paired perfectly with the HMG Southwest for comfortable hiking down in the 40’s with no problem!

Just a couple weeks more and I’ll be headed out on a gear testing trip with to some really cool places in the Southwest. Can’t wait to experience the Grand Canyon outside of the normal tourist season and see what it’s all about!
