From 0 to something real.

Building my business inside these Sola walls has been the wildest, most rewarding ride. I started with a vision, not much else—but little by little, this space became home. A place where beauty is created, yes—but also healing, laughter, real talk, transformation.

Every person who sits in my chair gets more than just a service—they get a full experience. One rooted in care, intention, and excellence. I’m constantly pushing myself to grow—sharpening my skills, elevating my brand, learning how to save smarter, invest deeper, and stretch further.

I’ve created something I’m proud of. But I’m not done. I still have more goals to chase, more clients to impact, and more of me to pour into the work—without losing who I am in the process.

Grateful for the journey. Grounded in the mission. Hungry for what’s next. 🤍

I didn’t set out to be an entrepreneur… I got fired.
December 10, 2015.
No job. No backup plan.
Just me, God, and a decision to not fold.

But what I didn’t know then… was that the table had already been set.

A year before, I’d gone to hair school.
My husband Hazel Middleton Jr. and my mom Audrey Brown paid for me to take a hair loss class in Atlanta.
I didn’t see it then — but God was orchestrating everything.

Did it make the journey easier?
Absolutely not.
I had to show up scared.
I had to get better.
I had to fight through the “am I good enough?” moments.

I lost clients. I lost confidence.
But I never lost God.

And now — nearly 9 years later — let me encourage you:
💬 You will doubt yourself.
💬 You will outgrow places & wonder if you jumped too soon.
💬 You will feel invisible while inspiring people silently.

But one day?
You’ll be the one of the .
Your voice will carry.
Your gift will make room.
And the vision will finally make sense.

So if no one’s told you lately:
You’re not behind.
You’re not too late.
You’re not doing it wrong.

Keep your hands in the work, your heart with God, and your eyes on the vision.
No shortcuts. No applause needed.

📌 Just. Do. Work.
Everything else will meet you on the way up.

I’m honored (and still in shock!) to share that I’ve been featured in Glamour Magazine—my first national article! 🙌🏾 I had the opportunity to speak on something I’m deeply passionate about: protecting your hair from heat damage and the real difference between ceramic and titanium flat irons.

This feature wouldn’t have happened without selecting me as a Face of Sola 2025. Being chosen to represent a community of elite professionals and contribute my voice to the industry on this scale? It’s a moment I won’t forget.

As someone who’s attended Bronner Brothers for years, I came in with high expectations — and Premier did not disappoint. From the cutting-edge tech to the elevated education and unmatched energy on the show floor… this was NEXT LEVEL. 🔥

A huge thank you to my Sola Charlotte family — Haynes, Kristen, you both made this trip seamless and truly special. From the accommodations to the experience, you poured into me more than I could have imagined. 💙

One of the biggest highlights? Connecting with some of my fellow Face of Sola 2025 beauty pros and reuniting with past honorees who continue to inspire me. This wasn’t just a show — it was a moment. A shift.

Still soaking it all in—what an incredible honor to be chosen as one of the Faces of Sola 2025!

Thank you Sola Corporate and Sola Charlotte for seeing something special in me. From the moment I stepped into my suite, I dreamed of something like this, but I never imagined how much this journey would pour back into me.

Being in Denver, Colorado, meeting my fellow ambassadors, sharing stories, and being reminded of our power as beauty professionals—it was soul-stirring. The energy, the encouragement, the love? Unmatched. These women and men are the real deal, and I’m so grateful to be in the room (and in this lineup!) with them.

To every client who has ever trusted me with their crown, to my Sola fam, my family, and my husband who pushed me to take the leap when I only had six clients—I carry you with me in every win.

This moment is for all of us.
