If you haven’t heard the news that recently took over social media, here’s what happened 👇🏻

One of the clean cereal brands, that I used to buy and recommend, Seven Sundays, in recent independent test, their Sunflower Cereal was tested positive in glyphosate with levels higher than some conventional cereals.

Now, Seven Sundays publicly confirmed that their 23 grain-based products are certified Glyphosate Residue Free by The Detox Project. However, their 5 grain-free products, including the Sunflower Cereal I showed in my video, had not yet been enrolled in that certification program.

👉🏼The good news is that the company responded and said they will begin testing those products and work on addressing the issue.

That is always good to hear, and this is exactly why consumer awareness matters !

❕But at the same time, it is still frustrating. Many of us are trying to support cleaner companies and choose better options for our families, especially for our children. And when a product is marketed as clean, we expect the testing to match that standard, before it ends up in our kids’ bowls.

So, in the meantime, one cereal brand I do feel good about right now is . My kids love it, and I appreciate that it is organic, non-GMO, glyphosate-free tested, and made with simple ingredients, no artificial ingredients and even no “natural flavors”.

If you’re looking for a cleaner cereal alternative, I suggest checking them out.

But really, putting all jokes aside!

I know there could be a time and place for different tools, supplements, protocols, and even more advanced therapies for certain people.

‼️But I also think the ultimate BIOHACK we can give our kids is not another trend ! it’s helping them build simple, healthy habits early in life! And we as parents have to model that as well!

👉🏼Teaching them to eat real food, move their bodies, spend time outside daily , get sunlight, drink clean water, sleep, and understand the difference between food that nourishes them and food that just might tastes good for a moment.

So before jumping into the next “health” trend, maybe we should ask ourselves, are we really doing the basics consistently first?

Agree or disagree⁉️

Hot days are here, and of course, kids are asking for 🍦

This is really the easiest way to make a healthier, dairy-free “ice cream” at home!

All you need is frozen fruit (frozen bananas are a must and then add any other frozen fruit you like, we are using strawberries and cherries) and this simple little machine to help us transform frozen fruit into a soft-serve style treat in minutes. 😋

Get the kids involved, let them choose the fruit, mix flavors, and see what they like best!

My kids personally really love it, and I love that it’s simple, refreshing, and made with real fruit.

Can your child react to “healthy” fermented foods? Absolutely.

I was recently speaking to a mom whose child flared after kefir and sauerkraut, and this is something many parents don’t realize, not all probiotics affect every child the same way.

Fermented foods are rich in Lactobacillus strains and some of these strains can trigger histamine reactions, which often in children may manifest as redness and rashes.

👉🏼So while I LOVE fermented foods and these foods can be wonderful for many people, some sensitive children, may actually react to them instead of benefiting right away.

That does NOT mean fermented foods are bad‼️It simply means healing is individualized and you might need to take a deeper look into your child’s gut health before feeding them sauerkraut!

Sometimes starting slower with more gentle strains may be a better first step!

And this is why there is no one-size-fits-all protocol in holistic approach !

This post is for Educational purposes only, not medical advice.

But if you’d like to take a look at some of the best suggestions for sensitive individuals, comment PROBIOTICS below and I’ll DM you some suggestions.

Recent case of tinea corporis 👇🏻

While the conventional way often focuses on medication, in acute cases like this, I coach on home remedies, nutrition, dietary adjustments, and herbal gut support to help the child’s body recover naturally🌱

Shopping healthier really is not as hard as people think!

👉🏼No one is perfect, and there will always be an even “better” option somewhere, but if the bulk of what you bring into your home is real food❗️better ingredients, quality proteins, and more organic seasonal produce when possible, that’s what truly helps set the foundation for your family’s health ‼️

I’m actually really grateful that stores like Costco are carrying more quality options now, more seasonal organic produce, wild-caught fish, grass-fed meats, and even better packaged snacks for busy days on the go!

These are some of the things we personally buy, and honestly, with just these basics, you can make so many simple meals, dinners, lunches for the whole family.

Save this reel or screenshot it so next time you’re at Costco, you have some ideas to check out 😉

I don’t know a single kid who doesn’t love strawberries 🍓🥹 but this information every mom needs to know‼️

A recent independent test (May 2026) sent conventional and organic Driscoll’s strawberries to an EPA-certified laboratory for pesticide screening.

The conventional strawberries reportedly came back with 12 very harmful pesticide residues detected, including:

• Flonicamid
• Fludioxonil
• Flupyradifurone
• Fluxapyroxad
• Indoxacarb
• Novaluron
• Tetraconazole
• TFNG
• Cyprodinil
• Pyrimethanil
• Quinoxyfen
• THPI

Some of these chemicals face stricter limits or even restricted in other countries, in European Union, Taiwan, Korea, Chile, and Russia. But unfortunately still allowed in the US !

The good news? 🍓

The organic strawberries in that same testing reportedly had non-detect results for those 12 residues.

So before you panic 👇🏻

If your kids eat strawberries often, switching to organic when possible is one simple way to reduce pesticide exposure. ✅

And even organic, try to wash them really well. I like a baking soda soak + thorough rinse.

Also… strawberries are not the only produce item to be mindful of 👆🏻

Every year releases their Dirty Dozen list of produce which are higher in pesticides and you should know about it and try to buy those specific foods organic, especially for your kids!

Most parents will never hear about things like this unless another parent shares about it ! This is not something they will be covering on mainstream news!

👉🏼For years we’ve heard” trust the science, trust the scientists, leave it to the experts”.

But apparently, the experts are not always as transparent as they should be 🤔

👉🏼That’s exactly why informed consent matters.

👉🏼That’s why parents need to ask questions, read for themselves, and use critical thinking instead of blindly outsourcing their children’s health decisions.

If you want to raise healthy children, start educating yourself. Remember! No one will care about your child’s health more than you do.

Over the years, I’ve collected some of my favorite books and resources that helped me become a more informed as a mom. Many of them are available as audiobooks too, so you can listen while driving, cooking, folding laundry, or on a walk.

You don’t need to know everything overnight. Just start.

This Mother’s Day, I think more moms need to stop feeling guilty for taking a little break sometimes 🤍

My husband asked me what I wanted for Mother’s Day and honestly no physical gift could compare to an experience. has been on my bucket list for a while, the history, architecture, walkable streets, and natural thermal springs just exactly what I needed ♨️

When you have kids, you get so caught up in the daily routine, responsibilities, cooking, cleaning, schedules, and constantly thinking about everyone else… that sometimes getting away for even a couple of days is exactly what your mental and physical health needs. 👉🏼Sometimes you simply need to breathe for a second.

Very grateful to have my mom, and sister around to help with the kids while we are away and keep up with their routines and schedule 📋

Because, really, health is not only healthy food and healthy habits.

Sometimes calming your nervous system, slowing down, resting, resetting, and changing your environment for a little bit can be even more important than supplements. Well, for me it is!

🌸Wishing every mom this Mother’s Day more support, more peace, and moments to recharge without guilt ✨
And if you can delegate a few things, even for a day or two, do it! Your health matters too 💐
