How far with our Sakawa MP, Ohene Kwame Frimpong? Has he resigned yet so the good people of Asante Akyem North can choose a new representative?

Even if he's not jailed, he's clearly not fit to be in any position in Ghana. Or, as usual leadership doesn't come with integrity in this town? πŸ‡¬πŸ‡

A Nigerian man responding to a post shared by a woman who ended her marriage over alleged abuse has stirred the internet. 🧐

Obase Eyong says women were never "created" like their male counterparts, however they were "made":

"Stop poisoning the minds of women, Men were created. Women were never created. They were made. Made to obey. I mean obey everything including abuse. Take it or not. Learn from your mother."

A 16-year-old SHS 3 student, Hannah (surname withheld), has alleged that she was trafficked to Ghana by a neighbour identified as Tosin Moses under the guise of securing a job opportunity abroad.
------------
"I was living with my dad and used to visit Aunty Tosin’s house to play. She asked if I wanted to travel abroad and promised that I would be paid a good salary, but she did not tell me the nature of the job or the country we were going,"

"She told me not to inform anyone, although her mother later spoke to my dad about it."

"My dad warned her against taking me, but weeks later, I left with her when my dad stepped out."

"I wore my school uniform that day because she said it would avoid suspicion. We left her house and went to the residence of a woman in Ogijo, Ogun State. From there, we travelled to Ibadan before continuing by boat to Ghana. I initially thought I was going there to sell food items because of the large quantity of goods she carried.”

β€œWhen we got there on Friday, she informed me about the kind of work I would be doing. I started crying, but she told me there was nothing I could do and that I had to accept it. I slept with between 50 and 100 men daily."

This is how a typical planned neighbourhood in the west looks like. Streets exist before houses are built, and drainage systems are built before the rain comes. The road outside your door was drawn on a plan before the mason mixed a cement.

Then there is Ghana! 😭

The neighbourhood planning has nothing to do with the peoples attitude, they just have leaders with common sense, we don't - thats all! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡

The 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme (24H+) is on track to create 1.7 million productive jobs by 2028, Presidential Advisor on the programme, Goosie Tanoh, has said.

Speaking at a Ghana Diaspora Townhall Meeting in London as part of the 2026 Ghana-UK Summit, Mr. Tanoh said four agreements signed within the past 90 days alone are expected to generate more than 160,000 jobs, putting the programme firmly on course to meet its employment target.

He said the projects include the Buipe Solar Farm, which is projected to create 13,000 jobs; the Kambonwule Oil Palm Project, expected to generate 120,000 jobs; and the Bioenergy and Biofuels Programme at Buipe and Damanko, which will create 30,000 jobs.
