✌🏻 BAND TEE TUESDAY ✌🏻
(we know, it’s been a while…)

This week, we are wearing our Noah Kahan tees that we got last month at his “The Great Divide”
Tour stop at Truist Field in Atlanta. That night, we laughed, we cried, and we sang every word! Noah Kahan is one of those songwriters that you know people will be relating to for decades to come. We don’t fan girl over much, but when Noah came out to the satellite stage and stood 10 feet in front of us singing some of our favorite songs, we were in tears. Kayle‘s favorite song from that night was “ Willing and Able.” Abby’s fave was “Orbiter.” This was definitely a concert that left us so grateful for live music, original music, and its impact that it makes on so many people.

SO... Let’s talk about something that comes up ALL the time in our world:

How should hired bands and entertainment be treated when they’re working your event? Specifically … FOOD. 🍽️

If you hire a band for several hours (not including their travel, setup, breakdown times), what type of provided hospitality is acceptable? A vendor meal? The same food the guests are eating? Snacky food? Just drinks?

These are the people working behind the scenes to make your event successful. Arriving early, staying late, hauling equipment, and giving their full energy to your guests.

👉 What do you consider good vendor etiquette?
👉 Should working bands be fed full meals?
👉 What’s the best (or worst!) vendor treatment you’ve experienced at an event?
👉 What do you wish clients understood about the vendors they hire? OR What do you wish bands understood about you as the planner?

We know how WE feel, but we would love to hear from bands, planners, venues, DJs, and clients!

Let’s hear the real-world experiences... the good, bad, and awkward. 😅
