USMNT unveiled pieces from the upcoming Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Football "USA" Collection in Charlotte today, offering fans a first look at one of the most anticipated apparel releases tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Along with the long-sleeve rugby top that has been previewed in recent weeks, USMNT players wore Virgil Abloh Archive-branded pre-match jerseys before kickoff.

The collection is expected to launch this month through the Virgil Abloh Archive (the organization dedicated to preserving and extending the late designer's creative legacy) as well as the USMNT online store, Nike SNKRS, and select retailers.

An avid soccer fan, Abloh frequently drew inspiration from the sport throughout his career. While not an Off-White release, the capsule reflects many of his signature design elements, particularly in the special-edition Nike Cryoshot sneaker, which features a white quilted leather upper, oversized "AIR" branding, a red zip tie, deconstructed details, and a transparent sole that showcases the underlying football-stud structure.

The full X2 '26 Collection is expected to include U.S. Soccer apparel, Nike Tech pieces, accessories, and the long-sleeve rugby top.

The official attendance for USMNT’s international friendly against Senegal in Charlotte was 57,741, as the United States earned a 3-2 victory in their first warm-up match ahead of the World Cup.

Goals from Sergiño Dest and Christian Pulisic gave the U.S. an early lead before Sadio Mané scored twice to level the match. Folarin Balogun then netted the winner in the 63rd minute, securing an entertaining opening World Cup warm-up win for the U.S. 🇺🇸⚽️✨

Charlotte FC's Tim Ream has been named USMNT World Cup captain ahead of the international friendly against Senegal in Charlotte.

With 80 appearances for the United States, Ream ranks among the most-capped defenders in national team history. The veteran center back started every minute of the U.S.’s four matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, helping the team record two clean sheets and advance to the Round of 16.

After falling in each of their last four Eastern Conference Final appearances since winning the Stanley Cup in 2006, the Carolina Hurricanes are headed back to the Stanley Cup Final!

The Hurricanes dominated the Montreal Canadiens in five games, winning the series 4-1 to capture the Prince of Wales Trophy and advance to their first Stanley Cup Final in 20 years.

The Canes have put together one of the most dominant playoff runs in NHL history and are the first team to reach the Stanley Cup Final with a 12–1 record since the NHL adopted four best-of-seven playoff rounds.

It was as sultry as it has ever been at the Fillmore for Alex Isley’s Charlotte tour stop, especially for those pressed deep into the sway of the crowd on Thursday night. But Isley’s light, airy, soprano-leaning voice helped soothe the sweltering heat inside the packed venue.

Against a backdrop of midnight blue and backed by a lush live band, Isley drifted through her set in front of a sold-out crowd, performing tracks from her major-label debut 'When the City Sleeps,' along with early-career favorites like “Good & Plenty” and a stripped-down rendition of “Into Orbit.”

Understated and atmospheric, the venue felt like a steamy yet elegant jazz club, as the soul royalty lineage of the Isley family was showcased through her effortless vocal control and quiet bravado.
