Mr. Tokyo Premium just opened near Charlotte Premium Outlets, and this is not your typical all-you-can-eat spot. Made-to-order sushi, nigiri, sashimi, hibachi, ramen, and appetizers in an upscale atmosphere that feels way more elevated.

I swam with a manatee for the first time at blue springs state park. The park is reservation only & $6 admission fee, you have to visit if you’re in the area. Best time to go is winter, imthe spring is FULL of hundreds of manatees because the water stays at 72 degrees year round. S**t I’d want warm water too🤣

I didn’t know manatees are so sweet & curious animals!!! I’ll be less scared next time lol

I flew into Orlando, stayed in Deltona for 5 days, and basically challenged myself to figure out… what is there to do in this part of Florida besides the theme parks? 😂

Is there good food? Hidden gems? Cute things to do?

I ended up playing unlimited pickleball at Pictona in Holly Hill for only $20/day, spending way too many days at the beach, finding some unexpected spots, and honestly meeting some of the FRIENDLIEST people. Like… I genuinely didn’t expect everyone to be that welcoming.

It’s definitely an area where I stood out, there aren’t many POC around, and I did have a few moments where I was reminded that the area isn’t completely removed from racism. But overall, I had way more positive experiences than I expected.

Would you visit Daytona/Deltona for a few days? 👀
