Legend has it that Ski walked at 6 months. Naz decided 13 months was more fitting for him.

Last Saturday, we went uptown to enjoy free live Latin music sung in Spanish, with every demographic under the sun dancing and singing along.

A young blonde girl saw my son, toddled off the dance floor and over to our blanket squealing "Baby!"

To her, he is a potential new friend. There are no borders. He doesn't need paperwork. He just needed to share his toys. 😆

We didn't send her back to her country (er blanket on the grass) for looking different. Her parents didn't fear our spot on the grass and welcomed their interaction.

We all danced and enjoyed people bringing us their culture in a different language.

And all was well.
