Re: the em dash being a "red flag" for AI writing.

No one should be paranoid about, penalized, or judged for using proper punctuation. Even if AI is being used, we seem to forget that we learn from what we see. It's why authors and writers are encouraged to read voraciously. If you continue to see proper writing, your writing will improve. It's a basic component of rote instruction. The idea of eliminating a component of literature used to clarify communication is a slippery slope. What's next? Banning books, articles, resumes because they're properly written? We may already be there.
