CHARLOTTE – Donte O’Neill Clements, 35, of Charlotte, was sentenced last week to 10 years in prison and three years of supervised release for participating in a COVID-19 fraud scheme, drug distribution and illegal gun possession, the office of the U.S. attorney for the Western District of North Carolina said in a news release.

Clements also was ordered to pay $993,081 in victim restitution.
