Here are three incredible advancing our understanding of the brain ➡️

🧠 Alexa Canady: An American neurosurgeon who became the first African American woman in the United States to become board-certified in neurosurgery. She dedicated her career to pediatric neurosurgery and co-developed an innovative programmable shunt system that improved treatment for children with hydrocephalus.

🧬 Brenda Milner: A British-Canadian neuropsychologist whose groundbreaking research transformed our understanding of memory and the brain. Often called one of the founders of neuropsychology, her work with the famous patient H.M. revealed that different types of memory are processed by different brain systems.

🔬 Nancy Ip: A Hong Kong neuroscientist whose research has uncovered key insights into how brain cells grow, communicate, and survive. Her discoveries have advanced Alzheimer's disease research and identified promising new therapeutic targets.
