Charlottesville's best kept secret isn't so secret any more!
Congratulations to WTJU!

WTJU is delighted to announce that the station placed first in the Local Radio Station category of the 2025 Best of C-ville contest.

We’re grateful to the tens of thousands of people who listen to WTJU, attend our free concerts and festivals, stream our live music videos, access our studio to make podcasts, and participate in our summer camps, family radio days, and the high school DJ program.

WTJU is powered by 150+ volunteer hosts who share their music and voices, a small and very dedicated staff, and YOU.

While WTJU lost $152,000 in federal funding when congress passed the White House’s Rescissions bill, your vote of confidence shows that the local community is on our side.

Thank you for your commitment to community radio. WTJU is better because of you.
