My name is Troy Armstrong and I own and operate The Troy Armstrong DJ Company, which provides DJ service and coordinating services for weddings, parties and corporate events. I've also recently taken on the added responsibility of officiating weddings, which I truly enjoy.

I've lived in Central Illinois 29 years and my parents still live in the house where I grew up in out in the country north of Roseville in western Illinois. I enjoy living in Central Illinois. Total number of events DJ'd per year since my company became official on 1/1/2001: 27, 54, 69, 76, 63, 67, 75, 69, 77, 64, 55, 59, 58, 72, 79, 90, 82, 67, 73, 43, 75, 105, 80, 81 and 95 for a total of 1,755! Dear future brides & grooms:

Do yourself a favor when you get engaged. Line up your favorite vendors who can only work one event per day and make sure they're all available on the same date BEFORE you set the date. Those vendors are; venue location, DJ/MC photographer, videographer, and officiant, just to name few. You can also add hair/makeup and florists/decorating to that list, along with some catering companies.

Seemingly EVERYBODY wants fall right now and finding good vendors who aren't already booked in September and October can be a difficult task, even 2 years in advance..

My Story

My name is Troy Armstrong and I own and operate The Troy Armstrong DJ Company in Springfield IL, which provides DJ services for weddings and parties. I'm honored to be the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Readers’ Choice "Best DJ" in the State Journal-Register. Business is good and I couldn’t be more proud!

I’m also an on-air radio personality on Springfield’s Superstar Country US92.7. 2019 marks 32 years as a radio personality, including the last 6 in Springfield. I've lived in central Illinois 24 years and my parents still live in the house I grew up in near Roseville IL.
