Please welcome Tyler Harris as the newest member of the Chatham Police Department! 😀

Tyler was recently hired on as a police officer, and he comes to our department fresh out of the police academy. He is currently in our field training program, where he will undergo several months of on the job training with experienced police officers. A little about him...

Tyler was born and raised in Pawnee, and he grew up in a law enforcement household. He graduated from Pawnee High School in 2020. After high school, he attended Lincoln Land Community College, where he earned an associates degree in the Arts.

Tyler got into law enforcement to serve the community and help those that need it. He chose to serve at the Chatham Police Department because of the outstanding relationship and strong partnership we have built with our community.

Law enforcement is a very challenging profession, but it is also a very rewarding one. When our job is done the right way, there are few professions out there than can truly match its ability to have such a positive impact on the lives of others.

We are excited to have Tyler as a member of our team and look forward to what he will bring to our community. We know he will do a great job here with us, and we wish him the best of luck!! ❤
