Sunday is reset day for us. As many of you know, I work full time off the farm as a preschool teacher. It is super important to us to have slow, intentional food even on days that we still may have to scurry.
So every Sunday I make big batches of snacks and meals for the week. This week it’s a loaf of bread, cookie balls, banana bread and stress relief tea iced tea for me (It’s the last week of school guys). Add a pinch of salt and a chunk of lemon and it’s a divine electrolyte pick me up. While it will all be gone by Wednesday, it offsets our reliance on processed food.

We love a good mystery! Checking the fertility of a new flock of chantecler chickens for a local homesteader. We are suckers for heritage breeds and for literally any excuse to fire up the Brinsea😍

Employee of the week 😍
Meet Raspberry. She is the matriarch of our bunch, both by blood and by force. If there is a fence she doesn’t like, it’s gone. If there is a speck of grain left, it’s hers. She’s the loudest, pushiest and sweetest goat here. She definitely keeps us on our toes and makes us question our life choices daily. She is a mini Nubian and her milk is delightful!
