Since forming their company in 1982, the Chiodo Brothers- Charles, Stephen, and Edward- have built an outstanding reputation as an innovative production company with expertise in creating amazing characters using stop-motion animation, live puppetry, make-up effects, animatronic props, and costumes. Integrating computer technologies with traditional motion picture techniques empower CBP artists to create even more spectacular effects. Located in Burbank, CA- the 10,000 square foot facility houses a full visual and mechanical special effects department utilizing the latest technology to achieve stunning, yet cost-effective visual effects. Our mechanical effects department provides: 2D and 3D design, production drawings, sculpting, mold making, foam fabrication, make-up effects, and animatronic/mechanical construction. Our visual effects department can provide: miniature sets, stop-motion animation, blue/green screen photography and filming, 2D and 3D digital animation, and digital compositing.

The Chiodo Brothers (Stephen, Charles and Edward) are a family of special effects artists specializing in puppetry, clay creation, stop animation, animatronics, creature creation and much more. They're best known for their characters, and film, "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" but have also created creatures and puppets for films and TV show including "Critters", "Team America: World Police", "Elf", "Ernest Scared Stupid", "Monsters", "The Thundermans", "The Simpson", and of course "P*e Wee's Big Adventure" (who can forget "Large Marge"!)
