Greenwich faced a speeding safety problem measured during our 5 day pre-program speed study. At their school zones, they had:
🚨 223,109 drivers a week in the school zones
🚨 44,208 speeding vehicles
🚨 28,416 vehicles were speeding between 11-14 MPH
🚨 13,152 vehicles were speeding between 15-20 MPH
🚨 1,940 speeding vehicles were exceeding 21 MPH or more

Sheriff Bailey of New Kent County Sheriff's Office in Virginia knew that speeding was a serious danger that impacted his community's safety. That's why he took action to find a trusted safety partner to protect everyone in his area's school zones.

With a 94% speeding reduction in the school zones, New Kent County extended their partnership with Blue Line Solutions to provide that same safety success in their massive I-64 work zone which is already measuring a 75% decrease in speeding instances on both sides of the Interstate, protecting construction workers and other drivers.

City of Hollywood, Florida recently shared their safety data with their Board of Commissioners and their community, and we're unbelieveably proud of their safety success.

🚨 89% reduction in speeding instances
🚨 36% reduction in local crashes
🚨 0 complaints from the community

Not only are they reducing the number of speeders, Hollywood Police Department are measuring a reduction in the speed at which all vehicles are driving through their school zones.

According to NHTSA a vehicle traveling 40 MPH, a child struck only has a one in 10 chance of survival, but if you slow that down to 20 MPH, that same child has a much-improved survival rate of nine in 10. Speeding is also a primary contributing factor in motor vehicle crashes resulting in personal injury and deaths.
