This season is a reminder that giving back is not just about gifts—it’s about presence, compassion, and recognizing those who are often unseen.
I want to take a moment to wish peace, love, and strength to everyone, especially those who may feel left out, are experiencing homelessness, or are going through a difficult season in life. You are seen, you are valued, and you matter.
I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the Chatt Foundation during their Christmas party, where I was able to capture special moments filled with joy, connection, and hope. Events like these remind us that even small acts of kindness can create lasting memories and bring light into someone’s life.
Life moves fast—like frames in photography—but it’s the moments we choose to pause and give that truly define us. I’m thankful to be part of a community that believes in uplifting others and showing love where it’s needed most.

Having the opportunity to photograph a cheerleading competition was truly an incredible experience. Witnessing these young athletes step onto the floor with boldness, bravery, and courage—cheering in front of massive crowds—was nothing short of inspiring.

Each performance reflected countless hours of dedication, teamwork, and confidence. It takes heart to stand tall, project energy, and lead with pride, and these girls did exactly that.

I am extremely proud of every cheerleader from Orchard K**b elementary School who performed with excellence and passion. Your strength, spirit, and determination were evident in every routine.

Inspired by Kemit Hair Design, this experience reminded me that confidence, creativity, and self-expression shine brightest when supported by community and culture.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of local Chattanooga icon, Gregory Jester. A true trailblazer and creative force, Gregory touched countless lives through his multifaceted talents in media, photography, and design.

With an unwavering passion for capturing life's most precious moments, Gregory's lens told the stories of those around him, often in their most vulnerable yet transformative moments. His work in photography and cosmetology allowed him to connect with people on a profound level, leaving an indelible mark on the community.

A proud advocate for Black empowerment, Gregory believed in the importance of self-actualization and community upliftment. His business venture, Kemit Hair Design, not only showcased his artistic prowess but also served as a testament to his commitment to connecting with African roots and promoting unity.

As a photographer, cosmetologist, and entrepreneur, Gregory's legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of experiencing his work. His impact on Chattanooga will be deeply felt, and he will be truly missed.

Rest in peace, Gregory Jester. Your work and spirit will live on.
