Society has completely normalized the idea of shelling out hundreds, sometimes even THOUSANDS! of dollars every month for a depreciating asset. It’s seen as just another bill or even a "Necessity", when in reality, it’s a financial trap keeping people stuck in paycheck-to-paycheck cycles. The car industry has convinced everyone that driving something new is worth the endless payments, interest, and debt because you have a warranty and need to worry about an old one "breaking down" But the truth? That "normal" car payment is the reason so many people feel broke and are destroying their chances at building wealth
