Meet Emma Sofia, Production Coordinator at 148 Films. Emma helps keep projects moving long before the cameras start rolling, handling pre-production communication, coordinating with talent, and making sure all the pieces are in place for a successful shoot. She also keeps the rest of the team on their toes with a steady stream of hypothetical questions throughout the day.
With experience on the talent side of the industry, Emma brings a unique perspective to casting and talent coordination. She loves helping people bring their vision to life, meeting new people, and getting the chance to learn something new on every set. One of her favorite projects at 148 has been Curate Symphony, where an incredible group of talent and plenty of creative freedom made for a shoot to remember.
When she’s not coordinating a production, you’ll probably find Emma with an iced banana matcha and dried mango nearby, playing her harmonium, or insisting that Pixels is cinematic inspiration. She’s a city girl who would still choose a countryside shoot, a sunrise call time over golden hour, and, when asked Nikon or Canon, Polaroid. No further questions.
