A look back at my time behind the lens.

WRL · ChampCar · Road Atlanta · Daytona · Barber · Sebring

This is what a weekend with Throttle Point Media looks like. If your WRL team is running Road America and wants professional coverage from the weekend, I've still got a limited number of spots available.

Drop a comment or DM me.

From the archive: ChampCar Road Atlanta 2025.

Car 230 locking up the front right into turn 7. That smoke trail only lasts a fraction of a second in real life. Blink and you miss it.

Turn 7 at Road Atlanta is one of those corners that punishes late braking more than most. The approach makes it deceptively fast and the lockup point sneaks up on you.

Drivers — what's your braking marker into turn 7? Trail brake or threshold?

The moment before cars roll off pit lane.

Everything gets quiet. The radio chatter, the crew, the paddock; it all falls away. Just the driver, the car, and whatever's about to happen for the next few hours.

This is one of my favorite things to capture. Not just the cars at speed, but the people inside them in the moments before.

Drivers, what's actually going through your head in those last few minutes on the grid?

My opinion: multi-class racing is the best racing.

Not a hot take. A genuine belief.

Single-class racing is clean, you may get an overtake here and there. Multi-class racing is alive. There's always something happening somewhere on the track. The gap car situation. The prototype hunting through GT traffic. The slower team that holds its line perfectly and forces the faster car to earn it.

As a photographer it's also where the most interesting moments happen; because the story isn't just one battle, it's a dozen of them running simultaneously.

To my WRL and ChampCar people: you live this every weekend. What's your take?

Sunset laps at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

The light gets warm.
The shadows get long.
The racing somehow feels even better.

One of the coolest things about endurance racing is how many stories are happening at the same time.

You’ve got battles for the lead, teams just trying to survive the race, drivers pushing through fatigue, and crews working nonstop in pit lane.

That’s part of what makes photographing endurance racing so fun.

Looking back on a big year of growth 🏁

2025 brought some major changes.

This was the year I transitioned from shooting solely under my own name to launching Throttle Point Media, alongside working with my first paid clients, covering new tracks, and stepping into new racing series.

It was a year full of learning - both on track and on the business side - and while there’s still plenty more to learn, I’m proud of how much growth happened in a short time.

Thank you to everyone who supported, trusted, and encouraged this journey. 2026 is already looking like an exciting next chapter.

See racing differently.
