UPDATE: At 1:30, one westbound lane is open, and Maize Road has reopened.

A multi-vehicle accident involving an overturned semi is impacting traffic on K-42 at Maize Road. Westbound traffic is being diverted at Tyler Road. Maize Road also is blocked on the north side of the intersection. Eastbound K-42 is open, and maze Road traffic from the south is able to turn east only.  we are estimating that the accident happened around 12:15 PM. It appears that it will take some time to tend to possible injuries and to clean up the intersection, so this could impact rush-hour traffic later today.
