Benefit for the family of Sean Davis on Monday, July 21

This past Friday night, our community lost one of its own. 17 year old Sean Davis, was tragically taken from this world by a senseless act of violence. It’s a loss that has shaken Pageland to its core. By all accounts, Sean was a loving son, great friend, and athlete.

Tomorrow, Monday, July 21 from 2PM–8PM, Fox Place Grill will be hosting a Benefit Lunch & Dinner in Sean’s honor. We invite the entire community to come out and show love and support to the Davis family during this unimaginable time.

We’ll be offering:
🍗 Chicken Wing Plates(6wings/fries/drink)
🍔 Burger Plates(Burger/fries/drink)

-$15 per plate — 100% of proceeds go directly to Sean’s family

Let’s unite as a community so that no other family has to endure this kind of heartbreak. One child lost is one too many.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has arrested and charged Jayden Jeremiah Jefferies in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Sean Davis during the Pageland Watermelon Festival on Friday, July 18.

HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 109 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia and central South
Carolina.

* WHEN...From noon to 8 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is anemergency! Call 9 1 1.
