Kali Reis Cohen claims to be Wampanoag, Cherokee and Nipmuc.
Her genealogy shows no ancestry from any of these tribes.
She has absolutely ZERO Cherokee ancestry and ZERO connection whatsoever to the Cherokee people/tribes/culture.
She claims to be a member of the "Seaconke Wampanoag tribe" but that is nothing but a CPAIN (a corporation posing as an American Indian Nation). Same with her "Nipmuc tribe". Just a CPAIN.
Come along with us as we take you on a journey of ethnic fraud to show you how this happens and why it is so harmful to actual American Indian people.
In the end, Kali Reis is guilty of redface, fraud and taking up space intended for actual American Indian people.
She is NOT an American Indian woman, so how can she have any American Indian perspective or portray an American Indian woman onscreen in films?
A friend of Kali's doxxed TAAF board members in an obvious attempt to distract the public from this very simple truth. This is very common tactic among pretending frauds. They don't want you looking at the truth. They want you looking at something else. And it's usually something entirely irrelevant and inane.
And whatever it is that they try to distract you with that has nothing to do with their fraud, and does not make the whistleblowers frauds, it will never magically make them Indians....
But we are staying focused on this one simple truth, which is the only relevant issue at hand.
Kali is not NDN.
When Kali was asked the question repeatedly: "What is it exactly that you are basing your claim of being an American Indian woman upon?", her response was simply that she's a member of those 2 CPAINS, which are really nothing more than heritage clubs for people self-identifying as "Nipmuc* or "Wampanoag".
We will also explain why self-identifying as an American Indian person from any tribe is wrong and harmful.
The doxxing is a classic distraction tactic. Nothing her friends doxxed was ever a "secret". It's all public information. Nothing untoward.
It's the doxxing itself that is concerning. The clear attempt to cause harm. The public online publication of home addresses combined with very thinly veiled threats of physical violence.
Especially when we are talking about doxxing actual American Indian women (who are among the board members of TAAF) in this day and age of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG).
American Indian women would never do that to each other. Pretendians do it when they get called out without a second thought. Clearly.
The problem is exacerbated by the fact that Kali and her friends are making thinly veiled threats of violence, which we will prove as well.
Doxxing is the act of publishing private information and identifying information about an individual online with intent to harm. Doxxing is done in order to shame someone, encourage other online users to intimidate someone, or put the person being doxxed in actual danger.
All because they don't want the whistle blown on their fraud.
