I wouldn't be where I am without every single community member, friend, or family member who has shaped my life. That is why I have chosen to dedicate my life to aiding in the language revitalization efforts of our Nation! This is not something I am doing alone. I stand alongside numerous dedicated first-language speakers, second-language learners, and teachers who are all putting in the work. Itsvyalielitsisi nole itsvgeyu'a!

Scarlett ᎩᎦᎨ Guy is a wonderful ambassador for language learning showing that learning the Cherokee language is not only possible but is occurring daily.

I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to represent our Tribe and our community at the Miss Indian World pageant this month!!!
