Over the past centuries, the being of Sophia, or feminine Divine Wisdom, has been emerging from the mists of ancient history, like Venus from the waters, to become a sign and mystery of our times.

Though it is difficult to say who she is, wherever we turn, we see traces of her coming-as if tracking the fringes of her mantle as it brushed aside the tangled, sclerotic cobwebs of centuries of cerebration.

As she draws near, much that was forgotten is reentering consciousness, not only as memory but also from the future, as possibility. It demands that we rethink who we are, whence we have come, and whither we are going.

We see her in the crumbling of the old social order and in the dawn light breaking through the night of patriarchal dominance in ways of knowing.

Feminist philosophers of science have shown us that a magical, holistic, and participatory "Hermetic" alternative to reductive, mechanistic science
-postmodern before the fact-contested the rise of modern science from the start.

But there is still more. A new mood is abroad, a kind of heart's yearning for what Sophia has traditionally always provided-a seamless vessel of harmony and meaning, uniting Heaven and Earth, within which we may live, move, and have our being.

Those who experience their lives as empty or meaningless are beginning to recognize that simply to oppose spirit to matter and locate all problems in "materialism" does not work.

A "spiritual" path in a void leaves the world untouched. Context is necessary. Humanity and the world-the cosmos-are indivisibly one.

What we need now is something that places spirit once again at the heart of our existence. Sophia gives us this ethical directive, calling upon us to sacralize-consecrate, make spiritual-the whole world and all our lives, not just on Sundays.

"Everything that lives is holy," said Blake.

Sophia is a still-evolving mystery.

She is a great secret, an open secret perhaps, but one at once so profound that it reaches to the very substance of the world and so close to our essential humanity, who we are, that we cannot see her.

Beginning in God before creation, she unfolded through creation and now participates in creation's redemption.

Coming from the Father, she is present and active not only in the birth, death, and resurrection of the Son of God, but also in the descent and dissemination of the Holy Spirit.

Thus, she holds within her being every aspect of human, cosmic, and-may we say it?-even divine evolution.

She is, to mention a few of her titles, the Mother of God, the Mother of Humanity, the Soul of the World, the HolySpirit, and the Goddess Natura.

She is also the human soul.

No wonder it is hard to grasp her.

We have been made aware, by theological and mystical traditions as well as contemporary teachers like Rudolf Steiner, of some of Christ's meaning for humanity, divinity, and the cosmos.

But full revelation of the mystery of Sophia, according to Steiner, will occur only in the future, in the next (sixth or so-called Slavic) cultural epoch.

Today, Sophia is a sign of the times; we sense her coming under many different forms and intuitions.

But to say with any precision who she is-in her fullness, breadth, height, and depth-eludes us. She is a truly spiritual being, who must be understood and encountered spiritually.

Following Blake, we may begin with "life" and "holiness."

Sophia is life-the life of the spirit.

She is the common "Life" of the Trinity, as she is the "common" life of creation.

Thus, Sophia is twofold: divine and creaturely.

As twofold, she ensures the presence of holiness-that where there is life there is spirit.

At the same time, she ensures the unity of creation and the uncreated-for there is but one life. Present in both divinity and creation, she is the indissoluble bond and mediator between them.

She is the means or way by which divinity bodies forth in creation. As the container or receptacle-as well as the unity-of the divine ideas, she is divine wisdom. As its manifestation, she is divine glory.

INITIATION AND CEREMONIAL RITUALS FOR WEALTH AND RICHES WITH LUCIFER

The Initiation Ritual (Step-by-Step);

Timing: Friday (Venus for wealth) at dawn or on a new moon. The hour of the Sun or Jupiter is ideal.

Location: A private, dark room where you won't be disturbed. You will be the only source of light.

The tale of Vasilisa is often remembered as a story about Baba Yaga, yet its deepest magic begins before the witch ever appears.

It begins with a dying mother.

Before Vasilisa’s mother leaves the world, she gives her daughter a small doll and tells her to feed it whenever she needs help. This doll is not a toy. It is blessing, memory, protection, and ancestral wisdom hidden in something small enough to carry close to the body.

After her father remarries, Vasilisa is placed under the power of a jealous stepmother and stepsisters who try to break her through labour, isolation, hunger, and fear. Still, the doll helps her endure. Every time Vasilisa feeds it, the doll answers. Every time the world becomes too dangerous, her mother’s blessing moves through its little hands.

Then Vasilisa is sent into the forest to fetch fire from Baba Yaga.

This is not only a journey into the woods. It is a descent into the old feminine unknown. Baba Yaga’s hut stands on chicken legs, surrounded by bones and skulls with burning eyes. She arrives in her mortar, drives herself with a pestle, sweeps away her tracks with a broom, and demands that Vasilisa complete impossible tasks or be eaten.

Yet Vasilisa survives through intuition, silence, patience, and the hidden help of the doll. She does not defeat Baba Yaga through force. She survives by knowing when to speak, when to work, when to listen, and when curiosity could become dangerous.

When Baba Yaga learns that Vasilisa is protected by her dead mother’s blessing, she sends her away with a skull lantern filled with supernatural fire. Vasilisa carries it home, and the burning eyes destroy the women who tried to send her to death.

This is why the tale is so powerful.

Vasilisa is not saved by beauty.

She is saved by ancestral guidance.

The doll is the voice of intuition women are taught to ignore. Baba Yaga is the terrifying teacher at the edge of girlhood. The skull lantern is the truth that burns through every false home, false kindness, and false authority.

Vasilisa walks into the dark as a girl.

She returns carrying fire.
