After planning weddings for more than 25 years, I’ve learned something that surprised many of my couples.

The brides who enjoyed their wedding day the most weren’t the ones whose day went perfectly.

They were the ones who had someone they trusted to answer the hundreds of little questions that come up throughout the day.

Who should the florist check with?

Where do the gifts go?

When should Grandma be seated?

Can the DJ make one small change?

Those little interruptions add up quickly.

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is choosing one trusted point person before wedding week.

Then…

give yourself permission to simply be the bride.
