"This may be the least risky movie of the year. How to train your dragon has been made multiple times since 2010, and every one of them has been well received. The big difference here is that this one is live action.

Gerard Butler was the voice of Stoick the Vast in the animated ones and he playing him on screen this one, and he has the physicality to pull it off.

Hiccup is played by Mason Thames, Astrid is played by Nico Parker, and Nick Frost plays Gobber.

This one runs longer than the animated films but the movie didn’t drag, and I was never bored."
