After a week off for the 4th, 9th Street Live returns this Friday, July 11 at 7PM — and we’re bringing the heat with John Inghram!

You may remember John as the frontman for our epic Grateful Dead Night, where he led the charge with his Dead Center band. Now he’s bringing two full sets of his own killer material — a sound that's rooted in Appalachia but wrapped in the warm tones of ‘60s and ‘70s psychedelic rock.

A lifelong bassist and longtime contributor to Mountain Stage, John’s solo work captures the present moment with raw honesty, vintage grooves, and soul-searching lyrics. From mellow folk-rock to cosmic jam energy, it’s a mix of nostalgia and now — and it’s going to be a blast.

Come early, stay late — it’s going to be a night of great music and good vibes. 🎸🌌

Just a reminder, there is no Mountwest Community & Technical College Kindred Communication's 9th Street Live tomorrow night 7.4 but we will be in action next Friday night 7.11! There is FREE live music at Harris Riverfront Park in City of Huntington, WV TONIGHT w/ 93.7 The DAWG. FREE tickets, if still in stock are available at Wendy's, GoMart & other locations around the Tri-State. Lawn chairs & blankets are welcome, coolers are not. Gates at 5 PM, Music starts 5:30/5:45 PM.
