As of September 1, 2025, CBC Media Group is no longer affiliated with WGCD 104.5FM or its affiliates. However, our commitment to delivering quality content continues.

This change will not affect advertisements or supporters at all! In fact, CBC Media has expanded its reach with the launch of Chester's *NEW* digital radio station, WNOV-DB, allowing us to operate on a larger scale.

We are thrilled about this new chapter and look forward to continuing to serve our community with expanded access and content. Thank you for your continued support.

Our official launch is January 10, 2026, however feel free to check out our progress ☺️.

We had the pleasure to speak with Master Trooper Hannah Davidson of the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Did you know that as of 2023, South Carolina had the highest rate of alcohol-impaired driving fatalities per capita, with 7.1 deaths per 100,000 residents? That's ALARMING 🚨.

Check out our intern Thomas Bates (Malcolm) as he uses "drunk goggles" (also known as alcohol-impairment goggles) which is used for educational demonstrations to show the public, especially young drivers, the dangers of impaired driving.
