π¨CHESTER POLICE DEPARTMENT MAKES ARREST IN TARGETED VANDALISM OF POLICE HEADQUARTERSπ¨
The City of Chester Police Department has made an arrest in the connection with the recent act of vandalism involving damage to police headquarters during the overnight hours.
Officers identified and arrested John Rawlinson in connection with the incident in which a brick was thrown through the front glass window of the Chester Police Department, causing significant property damage to the facility. Through aggressive investigative efforts and coordinated follow ups by the Officers of Chester Police Department, we were able to quickly develop information leading to the arrest.
Chief DuJuan Council's statement:
" This arrest sends a clear message that criminal behavior, reckless destruction of public and private properties will not be tolerated in the City of Chester. If you commit crimes in this city, we will hold you accountable.
The case remains under investigation, and additional charges or investigative findings may be forthcoming.
