🙋🙋♀️: For the Heart That Hurts During the Holidays
The holidays can be beautiful… and they can also be incredibly hard.
For some, this season carries an empty chair, a quiet phone, or a memory that feels especially close. If you’re missing someone dear to your heart, please know — your grief is seen, and your tears matter.
God’s Word gently reminds us:
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18 (NKJV)
You are not weak for feeling this way. Love leaves an imprint, and missing someone is a reflection of how deeply you cared. In the quiet moments, when the ache feels heavy, Jesus draws near. He does not rush your healing. He sits with you in it.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
— Matthew 5:4 (NKJV)
Even when words fall short, Christ remains. He holds your heart, carries your sorrow, and walks with you through every memory and every tear. You are never alone — not for a moment — when Jesus lives in your heart.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1 (NKJV)
If today feels heavy, breathe. If joy feels distant, that’s okay. God’s love meets you exactly where you are — not where you think you should be.
May the peace of Christ surround you,
May His presence comfort you,
And may His love remind you — you are deeply held.
🤍 You are not alone. God is near.
